The Newcastle Mela has grown over the years to become one of Newcastle’s premier events and is particularly prominent for those from a Pakistani, Bengali, Indian and other South Asian background.
Octopus Media were given the brief for the website and graphic design for the Newcastle Mela and we created a fluid and attractive website that would help to publicise the event. We worked closely with the client and advised on the best way to create content that would be visibly appealing. The website now serves as the central hub for the annual event and Octopus Media continue to provide ongoing hosting and IT Support for Newcastle Mela as we prepare for the next big event later on in 2019.
Octopus Media then went one step further and became sponsors of the event alongside the likes of Newcastle City Council and Virgin Money. We’re currently gearing up for the next event later this year and August as it promises to be the biggest and best Mela yet!
